Professor Amarnath Rai is new vice-chancellor of NEHU

Varanasi, October 5, 2010: Former head of Botany Department, Banaras Hindu University, and present vice-chancellor of Mizoram Central University, Aizawl, Professor Amarnath Rai has been appointed as vice-chancellor of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong for a term of five years, according to a communiqué of Union Ministry of HRD.
