BHU to launch mobile blood bank



Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will soon launch mobile Blood Bank. The latest technology equipped vehicle has arrived on the university campus on December 14, 2010.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith holds 32nd Convocation










Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith organised its 32nd convocation in Varanasi on December 13, 2010. Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of the university BL Joshi inaugurated the convocation. Former Chief Justice of India JS Verma was the chief guest. Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Minister Rakesh Dhar Tripathi and Kashi Vidyapth Vice-Chancellor Professor Awadh Ram were present on the occasion.

The girl students of the university got as many as 24 out of 37 gold medals at different levels of higher education including the graduate and post-graduate courses apart from showing excellence in professional courses and sports.

Seminar on iron and steel held in BHU
