Rudravishek performed to celebrate Malviya Jayanti

Banaras Hindu University vice-chancellor Professor DP Singh performed Rudhravishek at Vishwanath Temple at University premises on December 9, 2009. The ritual was performed to celebrate Madan Mohan Malviya Jayanti as per Hindu calendar which falls on Paush Krishna Asthami. A group of Brahmins performed Vedic Pujan of Lord Shiva under the leadership of Dr Chandra Mauli Upadhaya. Several senior faculty members including BHU Rector BD Singh and Registrar KP Upadhaya were present in the function.
