Varanasi, December 6, 2009: A 7-member US delegation called on acting Vice-Chancellor and Rector of Banaras Hindu University, Professor BD Singh and discussed about possible linkage in field of agribusiness, management, plant biotechnology and other areas of agriculture sciences including faculty and student exchange programme.
They also talked about possibility of creating consortia which might include a few more universities from India and a few universities from US.
Rector Prof. BD Singh, while welcoming the delegates said we are looking forward for all possible linkage and collaborations. He felt sorry about Prof. SP Singh of Tennessee State University, USA, who could not attend this programme due to health problem. He instructed BHU Official to take care about him.
