24 killed as cyclone hits Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar






A strong dust storm with speed of 77 km per hours followed by rains hit the normal life in Varanasi badly on May 7, 2010. The electric supply was badly disrupted as several poles were uprooted with the falling of trees. More than 24 persons lost lives in eastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining state of Bihar's Bhabuwa district. In Varanasi one boy was killed.
