WBPF Second World Bodybuilding Championships concludes in Varanasi



Varanasi, November 1, 2010: World Bodybuilding and Physique Federation (WBPF) Second World Bodybuilding Championships was held in Varanasi from October 28 to 31. Titles were awarded in different weight categories. Danial Toth won the Mr. World title.

India’s Bobby Singh won the World title in the 75 kg weight category. Indian bodybuilders performed well in the championships as eight Indians entered the finals of various categories. In the 60 kg category, Daljit Singh and Rakesh Gupta advanced to the finals while in the 90 kg category, Jitender Dhillon and Amarinder Singh earned their places in the final. The other Indians who reached the finals were Pradeep Verma (55 kg), Nizam Shafi (65 kg), A Boby Singh (75 kg) and Gaurav Kapil (85 kg).

Sazali Samad of Malaysia won the title in the 70 kg category. It was Sazil’s historic sixth title in the world bodybuilding championships.

  4. I have done lot of workouts to make my body more strong. Therefore I also want to perform in this type of championship at national level.
