Durga Puja celebrations come to an end

Goddess Durga idols were brought out from different puja pandals for immersion in the River Ganga in Varanasi on October 6, 2011. Puja committee members took out colourful processions with idols on their way to Dashashawmedh Ghat. Thousands of devotees gathered at different ghats to witness the immersion on the Vijaya Dashmi Day.
