East Zone inter-university women's volleyball tournament begins in BHU

Varanasi, October 30, 2012: East Zone inter-university women's volleyball championships began at the Amphitheater courts of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) here on Tuesday.

In the opening match Pandit Ravishankar University Raipur beat Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh 25-14, 25-19, 25-07. In the other match of the day, Vilaspur University got walkover against Baster University.

Earlier, the BHU registrar Professor GS Yadav inaugurated the tournament.
