Varanasi, March 16, 2013: Dr. B. Mishra, Professor and Head
of the Department of Pharmaceutics, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) was honoured
with prestigious Eminent Teacher Award by the society of Pharmaceutical
Education and Research (SPER) at Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard University, New Delhi
during its 2nd Annual Conference held March 9 last.
This award was given to Prof. Mishra for his 28 years of
service with excellent contribution as teacher and researcher in the field of pharmacy
by Dr. GN Singh, Drug Controller General of India .
Dr Mishra was the guest of honour at the opening function and
he delivered inaugural plenary lecture on “Osmotic Control in Drug Delivery”.
Prof. Mishra is a well known teacher and researcher in the area of drug delivery
in India
and abroad.
