UGC expert committee visits BHU

Expert Evaluation Committee of UGC on University with Potential Excellence arrived at Banaras Hindu University on February 1, 2011 for a four-day tour. BHU vice-chancellor Professor DP Singh welcomed the committee members at meeting hall of central office. All the faculty heads and high ups of the university were inatroduced with the UGC committee members. Later a presentation ceremony was held at Swatantrata Bhavan. Adressing the inaugural function Professor DP Singh highlighted BHU achievements in recenet years. UGC joint secretary Dr Renu Batra said BHU had always been on the priroty list of the UGC.
