ISRO Agromate Weather Station inaugurated at BHU South Campus








Varanasi, September 3, 2010: Banaras Hindu University vice-chancellor Professor DP Singh visited Rajiv Gandhi South Campus at Barkachha on Friday.

In his day-long stay, vice-chancellor first inaugurated the ISRO Agromate Weather Station which is billed as first in its kind in Uttar Pradesh. DR JS Parihar, deputy director, ISRO Space Application Centre, Ahmedabad and BHU rector Professor BD Singh were present on the occasion.

Later Professor DP Singh inaugurated a Pharmacy laboratory at Mushroom Bhavan.

The BHU vice-chancellor also addressed the new students of the university.
