Banaras Hindu University (BHU) celebrated the 65th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. BHU vice-chancellor Professor Dhirndra Pal Singh hoisted the tricolour at Amphitheater ground, in Varanasi on August 15, 2011. He also took salute of the march past and witnessed parade presented by NCC cadets. Students of the university also presented attractive programmes based on patriotic themes.Photo: PPP Cell-BHU
