Foundation stone laid for sports complex in Rajiv Gandhi South Campus

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) vice-chancellor Professor DP Singh laid the foundation stone of a sports complex in Rajiv Gandhi South Campus at Barkachha on August 16, 2011. The sports complex which will have athletics track, badminton, basketball, tennis courts, and hockey and football fields will be constructed in 10,000 square metres of area at an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 crore. Several university dignitaries were present on the occasion.
