Save environment, the BHU vice-chancellor way

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) vice-chancellor Professor DP Singh did his all official work by paddling a bicycle on the university campus on February 26, 2010. Professor Singh came out of his official residence and took a bicycle ride to reach KN Uduppa auditorium to participate in a function.

The BHU vice-chancellor had decided to take a bicycle ride on the last working day of each month to spread the message of environment protection.

BHU PPP Cell chairman Professor Rajesh Singh and other staff members also paddled bicycle to accompany the vice-chancellor.

Banaras Hindu University will remain closed from February 27 to March 2 on the occasion of Holi festival.
