University of Nebraska may tie up with Banaras Hindu University

Varanasi, February 20, 2010: Vice-president of University of Nebraska, US, Dr Thomas Ferrel visited Banaras Hindu University here on Saturday and held a meeting with the director and other senior academic staff members of Institute of Agriculture Sciences (IAS).

The meeting discussed the possible collaboration between IAS-BHU and University of Nebraska on academic and research activities. The meeting mainly discussed on the subjects like soil health, improving the production of pulses, seed series, food packaging and marketing management.
